Made for exhibition at Grand Designs Live, this beautiful Speed design pool table was hand crafted from solid Walnut (American Black Walnut to be more precise), and finished with a black oil to emphasise the detail of the grain.

The slate-size is UK Pub 7ft or ‘7by4’ size, with a nose to nose playing area of 72″ x 36″ / 183cm x 91cm, so a great choice for serious Pool players as well as those who play for fun and like beautfiul, hand crafted furniture. The cloth we chose was Hainsworth’s ‘Slate’ Smart cloth, which we think looks great, but, as always we will re-cloth the table to suit a client’s preference, in any Hainsworth or Simonis cloth colour

For the show, we also made a matching set of dining tabletops, as many clients in recent years have asked for these, and also to offer the option of a simple, fixed-height Pool-dining table. Because the table was made at Pool table height (83cm cushion height), the height with tops on would be approx. 85cm, so if the table was wanted as a Pool-diining table, we would suggest shortening the legs a little, to lower this table to a better ‘compromise’ height (81cm dining, 79cm cushion height is popular).

We can make variation of this table in all Uk and US pool tbale sizes, but the show model is already made and available for immediate delivery at a significantly discounted ‘ex-demo’ price, with or without tops. The choice is yours.
